Ella had another field trip this week. The class went to the MSU Butterfly House. My parents got to go with us this time. It was really fun and they did a great job with the kids. They had a mini class about the life cycle of a butterfly and they each got to plant a small flower that once transplanted outside will attract butterflies. Then the kids got to go into the actual butterfly part. There were small bowls of nectar out the kids could dip their fingers into. If they found a butterfly sitting on a plant they could hold their finger out and the butterflies would climb on to eat. The kids were having so much fun.
