
We have been craving cinnamon rolls here lately so today Ella and I got busy in the kitchen. I looked at several recipes but we went with a good ol' Paula Dean. It was really hard to be patient and wait for them to rise but in the end, I think we got a good result. Ooey gooey goodness.

Yummmm. Every once in awhile I buy the frozen bread dough at the store and "cheat" (still not a good bread dough maker, but I keep trying). If you let it rise in a loaf and then flatten it out, spread your butter, cinnamon, nuts, etc. and then roll them up and let them rise again - they are excellent. Even make some carmel-like frosting. I might have to do that soon.
