We had a very busy day yesterday but it was a day filled with firsts for Maddison. We went to the Detroit Zoo but as soon as we pulled into the parking ramp it started to pour down rain. We decided to run over to the mall in Troy and take the girls to Build-A-Bear. Briana and Ella already have animals from there so they picked out new outfits and Maddie got a new bear. By the time we were done there the rain looked like it had stopped so it was back to the zoo. We had lots of fun checking out all the animals but the best one was the polar bear. She was swimming and we got to go under a tunnel to watch. By the time we got down there she was sitting on top of the tunnel. It was the cutest thing. Shortly after we got home and got cleaned up we realized that there were fireworks going on in an hour. So off we went to watch fireworks. Maddie loved them. We sat in the car to watch so it wasn't too loud and she was glued to all of the beautiful colors.
